Group Rules

:music: This is a group for art OF musicians/bands, NOT for art inspired by musicians/bands, there are so many groups for that!!

:music: There is no limit to art submissions! (so far)

:music: Anyone can join! Just hit the join group button!

:music: Basically this is a group about fan art and portraits/pictures of musicians and bands. Digital and traditional drawings, paintings, concert photos, poems, songs, stories, cosplay, figurines, sculptures, etc. are all accepted, as long as they feature a musician/band.

:music: No posting other people's art! The piece must be your own work.

:music: All levels of art are accepted. But pick something you're proud of and want to show off to the world!

:music: Mature-rated stuff is ok as long as it adheres to DA's rules of course.

:music: Respect your fellow group members. Don't bash or put people down because of their likes or dislikes. It's OK to be opinionated, but be mindful of people's feelings! No racists or homophobes, etc., I will kick you out!

:music: If you have any questions, comments, etc... let me know. Drop me a line anytime, I love to chat! :D

:music: And of course, have fun ;)

I hate when groups decline pieces because they are submitted to the wrong folders (it makes them seem kinda lazy to me), and I'd love to not have to do the same. It would be fantastic if you guys submitted to the right folders! I know a lot of bands fall under the "rock" category, but I tend to reserve that folder for the classic rock bands, such as The Beatles, Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, etc. If you are not sure what genre your piece would fall under, do a quick search on Wikipedia, and there is always a list of genres under "Background Information."

Again, this would definitely make my job easier, and would make it easier for others to maybe find some new music to listen to! Thanks again, and rock on! :headbang:

Today, my tribute to one of the most entertaining of symphonies: the Organ Symphony of Saint-Saens.

Hans von Bulow was terribly provincial when he chose his 3 Bs; why only Germans?
Here is my much improved list of 10 Bs:
JS Bach of Gemany
Bartok of Hungary
Beethoven of Germany
Berlioz of France
Biber of Bohemia
Boccherini of Italy
Brahms of Germany
Britten of Great Britain
Bruckner of Austria
Byrd of England
